Cannonball Gourd Luminary

Service Description

Class Description: This is a fun class where you will learn to design a Cannon Ball gourd to create a Luminary, wood burn the design, stain sections with ink dye or use metal leafing, then drill holes for light to show through. I will provide a 5" Cannon Ball gourd, a stick and burn design, ink dye, Tiger Tape, metal leafing, adhesive, and a mini gourd to make a finial, as well as my doorknob hole bits to drill a hole in the bottom of the gourd for a light or stand. Light, finial or stand are not included in the kit.  Supplies fees of $20 will be paid at the class. Tools needed: scissors, drill, 2 small size drill bits such as 1/16", 5/64", or 3/32", awl, wood burner with a skew and ball tip, small paint brush, fine tip applicators, gourd scrapers. Size: 5 to 6 inches Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel after deadline, you will receive a refund of your class fee minus $10 handling fees only if we have a waiting list. If we are unable to fill your space, you will not receive a refund.
