About the event

In this fun class students will learn how to safely use Plam Gouges (Woodcarving tools) to make a series of cuts that will form a unique S-shaped pattern. The gourd will then be cut open and cleaned out inside. Special dyes will be used on your carving to bring your masterpiece to life. We will seal your gourd with a spray on sealer.

Teacher will supply everything needed for this class, including tools for use in class and clean ready to craft gourds. Students will need to bring their favorite apron and any special dusk mask that you may prefer over the N-95 mask that will be supplied. We will also be using woodburners supplied by the teacher. If you have your own special burner, please feel free to bring it along.
